Stipend

TRY 1,400/month (~$43/month) for undergrad

Stipend is modest at current exchange rates but cost of living in Türkiye is low. Dormitory accommodation guaranteed. One-way airfare at start of studies. Note: stipend amount may be adjusted annually.

Host universities

Over 200 state and foundation universities across Türkiye. Major choices include Boğaziçi University, Middle East Technical University (METU), Istanbul Technical University, Hacettepe, and Bilkent.

Must not hold Turkish citizenship. Age limit: under 21 for undergraduate. Strong academic record required. Citizens of all countries eligible — popular among students from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Balkans. Apply through the official Türkiye Bursları portal.
